Vaccination conducted successfully in seven locations in Kamrup(R)

On 05.06.2021 a COVID-19 vaccination drive was conducted successfully in seven places of Kamrup(R), namely, Bihdia, Kamalpur, Boko, Rani, Mirza, Chaygaon and Goroimari in association with Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam and Udayachal- A Unit of Jadav Chandra Bhuyan Memorial Trust. The aim was to provide vaccines to the persons with disabilities and a total of 269 vaccines were given as they were unable to schedule vaccination appointment. The drive aimed to address barriers to vaccination and ensured that persons with disabilities have access on an equal basis with others. So, the beneficiaries were very thankful to the organizers and Udayachal for conducting this drive a barrier free without any discrimination and encouraged for further such successful events.
