On 02.07.2021 a COVID-19 vaccination drive was conducted successfully in Bahabari LP School, Darrang in association with Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam and Udayachal- A Unit of Jadav Chandra Bhuyan Memorial Trust. The aim was to provide vaccines to the persons with disabilities and a total of 181 persons were intervened and vaccines were given as they were unable to schedule vaccination appointment. These groups of people are facing more difficulties regarding their healthcare facilities as they were unable to schedule appointments for their vaccination along with were also discriminated because of their disabilities. So, the beneficiaries were very thankful to the organizers and Udayachal and also, encouraged for further such successful events.
