WORLD DISABILITY DAY 2020

On the occasion of World Disability Day, i.e. 3rd December, 2020, a programme was organized by Udayachal, to visit Pobitora Wild-life Sanctuary as a recreational activity. On the way to Pobitora Wild-life Sanctuary our children along with the staff got a chance to see the one horned rhino, which is the state animal of Assam, some wild buffalo and various species of migratory birds. After that we headed towards Prasanti Eco Camp under Assam Tourism Department Corporation (ATDC) and Haduk Hanging Bridge near Pobitora Elephant Safari where they witnessed the scenic beauty of the nature.
Through this trip the students experienced a new environment which refreshed their mind and gave them a chance to break free from their monotonous routine. It helped them develop their observation skills and learn experience new things. They also got an opportunity to nurture their bonding with their peer group.
