Assam Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment Pijush Hazarika officially inaugurated the event in the presence of Smt Riniki Bhuyan Sharma – Organising President of 1st North East Para Sports Meet, Shri Kausar Jamil Hilaly – Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Department Assam and Sunil Pradhan – Treasurer Paralympic Committee of India along with several other dignitaries.
