COVID-19 vaccination drive conducted successfully in Chamaria

On 08.06.2021 & 09.06.2021 a COVID-19 vaccination drive was conducted successfully in Chamaria in association with Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam and Udayachal- A Unit of Jadav Chandra Bhuyan Memorial Trust. The aim was to provide vaccines to the persons with disabilities and a total of 203 persons were intervened and vaccines were given as they were unable to schedule vaccination appointment. As this is the most crucial time for all of us, persons with disabilities are also not exception from it. To be mentioned here, these group of people are facing more difficulties regarding their healthcare facilities as they were unable to schedule appointments for their vaccination along with were also discriminated because of their disabilities.So, for conducting this vaccination drive specially for the persons with disabilities, the beneficiaries were very thankful to the organizers and Udayachal and also, encouraged for further such successful events.
