Vaccination drive organised by Udayachal

Wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart from others help reduce the chance of being exposed to the coronavirus or spreading it to others, but these measures are not enough. So, keeping that in mind, today on 31.05.2021 a COVID -19 vaccination drive was conducted successfully in Amingaon, North Guwahati in association with Udayachal – A Unit of Jadav Chandra Bhuyan Memorial Trust. The aim was to provide vaccines to the persons with disabilities because during this uncertain period of COVID – 19 it was becoming a bit difficult for these people to get slots as well as centres for vaccination. It was organized in a hope that the pandemic will soon be under control and to provide the opportunity to the persons with disabilities of being vaccinated. The beneficiaries were very thankful to the organizers and management of Udayachal for conducting this drive which was only for persons with disabilities and also encouraged for further such events.
